Description

In partnership with the city, Missoula County earlier this year submitted an application for a federal BUILD grant. The $23 million grant would fund more than 60% of the anticipated $30 million project, which includes new connector roads, infrastructure, bike lanes and sidewalks. As of October 9, 2019, this project is in the conceptual phase and pending funding. The results of the build grant application should be released late 2019 or early 2020. An engineer has not been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is not expected to start prior to September 2021.
