Description

ESBEs 13.23% Involves the Pedestrian Safety Evaluation for Rt. 82 (MP 1.87 to 4.00), as part of the Pedestrian Safe Corridor Program, identified specific pedestrian safety deficiencies and countermeasures to remove barriers that prohibit safe walking primarily at intersections. At appropriate locations, these measures include, installing pedestrian countdown signal heads, installing ADA-compliant ramps, revising traffic signal timings for appropriate pedestrian clearance times, clearly defining school zones, traffic signal hradware upgarde, lighting evaluation, road-diet feasibility and resurfacing of roadway. The Consultant shall provide the following staff to report to a State Resident Engineer: Road Inspector - NICET 2 or equivalent Road Inspector - NICET 3 or equivalent
