JEA Substation Transformer Oil Sampling

JEA is accepting bids for a three year contract to perform the following tasks in accordance with NETA Standards, including ASTM D 923 and ASTM D 3613. The contracted service provider will perform all sampling services, no subcontracting is permitted. The contracted service provider will be required to achieve and maintain JEA Safety Prequalification. The work will involve taking samples from Transformers that are energized at the time of sampling. All employees of the contracted service provider who require entry into substations must complete the 4-hour JEA Substation Safety Training prior to entry. The Substation Safety Training class is offered on the second Wednesday of each month at 8:00 AM at the JEA Westside Service Center.
