North Wastewater Treatment Plant Make-Up Air Handler Replacement

Renovation of a water / sewer project in Addison, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project. The Village of Addison requires the following scope of work to be performed making this a turn key project. 1. Provide and install one (1) roof top Sterling gas fired make-up air unit to match specifications of the existing unit, or "approved equal" complete with the following: a} Remove old unit from roof top and set new b) Reconnect gas piping, power wiring and control electric. c) Install all necessary ducting and sheet metal fittings to connect to existing duct work. d) Provide one year parts and labor warranty. e) Provide proper start up and any adjustments necessary to satisfy the manufacturer's warranty. 2. Provide proper site clean-up, including hauling of all related debris and spoils from the jobsite and properly disposing of them. Contractor will be responsible for any disposal fees. The above specifications are set up as standards of quality. The standard "or equal" clause will apply. No substitution will be considered unless a written request approval has been received by the Village of Addison at least five (S) days prior to the due date for receipt of bids. Each such request will include the name of the specified product; the complete specifications for which a substitute is being requested; and complete description of the proposed substitute. The decision of the Village of Addison regarding approval or disapproval of the proposed substitution shall be final. The Village of Addison is seeking bids for the purchase and installation of a Make-up Air Handler at the Village's North Wastewater Treatment Plant. Minorities and women-owned businesses (W.B.E.) are encouraged to participate. The project must be completed and invoiced 90 days after contract is awarded. Pending manufacturer's ability to provide product. The Village of Addison reserves the right to waive all technicalities, and to accept and or reject part(s) of any or all bids which it deems advantageous.
