Clyde Hamrick Asphalt Road Install

The Fox C-6 School District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to submit a bid for 2 Lane Asphalt road, with curb to be installed at Clyde Hamrick Elem. The District is a diverse, public school district located in Jefferson County in Missouri. The District covers approximately 100 square miles, serves approximately 14,000 students and employs approximately 1,200 staff. The district has 23 school facilities, including 11 elementary schools, 4 middle schools, 2 high schools, and 1 specialty campus. Question Deadline 06/08/2023 Specification of Asphalt road to be installed 1) Excavate area from front parking lot to rear lot, along the fence line and behind playground 310 feet long by 20 feet wide by 6 inches deep and remove excess dirt and debris from job site 2) Install a 6 inch rock base for underlay 3) Install 6 inches of commercial grade Asphalt with 6 inch curb on both sides 20 feet wide ( 2 lanes) and 310 feet long 4) Slope or roll both ends of new asphalt road to the existing front lot and rear lot to smooth transitions 5) Use commercial grade rollers and tampers to compack final top layer of asphalt 6) Paint a single yellow or white line down center of new road 7) Clean and remove any excess asphalt or dirt/rock from job site 8) Area to be paved is 310 feet long by 20 feet wide 6 inches thick 9) Clean area when job is completed
