Description | Masonic Care Community of New York, herein called the Owner, invites the submission of sealed bids for the construction work involved with the Masonic Care Community - Sidewalk and Drainage Improvements. Project located at 6461 Round Lake Road, Woodgate, NY 13494 as follows. The work of this project includes, but is not limited to, the placement and/or construction of concrete stairs, concrete sidewalk, asphalt pavement, pavers, building perimeter drains, HDPE storm piping, trench drains, storm structures, and other miscellaneous work as indicated in the plans. This project includes both a Base Bid and an Alternate, as indicated on the drawings and described in the Bid Item Descriptions. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to the Engineer and will be accepted until Monday, July 10th, 2023.A performance and payment bond will not be required from the selected contractor for proposals less than $100,000, However the Owner may require another form of security for faithful performance. Sample forms for bid, performance and payment bonds and construction contract documents are included in this package. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the OWNER. The General Municipal Law of the State of New York requires that bidders certify, under penalty of perjury, that bids have been prepared without collusion with other bidders, subcontractors, suppliers, etc. This certification is included within the Bid Form. MBE/WBE/DBE's are encouraged to submit. |
