Description | As of 3/15/2023 No Responses Received No hard copies of bids will be accepted. Bidders must submit bids electronically through the City's Vendor Self Service website. Bidders must be registered to submit a bid. Bidders can register and submit bids at electronically. A Bid Bond, deposit of cash or Certified Check, Bank Cashier's or Bank Official's Check drawn on a solvent bank payable to the Treasurer of the City of Cincinnati, in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid must accompany each bid as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted a contract will be entered into. Bidder must use the Construction Bid Surety and Signature Form included in Section 2, as none other will be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance surety in the amount of 100% of the contract value. A performance bond surety shall be kept fully in effect for one year following the acceptance of the final statement of costs by the City. 8 REQUIREMENTS AND DATA (See Excel Pricing Form attachment/Volume 3) BIDDER NOTE: Leaving entries Blank or "0" is an option and will be interpreted as No Charge (a bid of $0.00). Wage rates and labor categories indicated in the ITB and subsequent contracts will be enforced by Contract Compliance. SEE SPECIFICATIONS BELOW If the amount of the performance surety ceases to be adequate or satisfactory security for the City, the contractor shall, within five (5) days after notice of the City, furnish a new or additional bond, in form, and signed by such sureties as shall be satisfactory to the City. No further payment shall be deemed due nor shall any further payment be made to the contractor unless and until such new or additional bond shall be furnished and approved. The premium on such bond shall be paid by the contractor. If surety is in the form of a cashier's check or certified check, such surety will be refunded to contractor one year following the acceptance of the final statement of cost by the city.
