Description | The Redmond School District ("the Owner") Requests Proposals from experienced Construction Manager|General Contractors (CM|GC) for the construction of the Hugh Hartman Elementary School Mechanical Upgrade Project. Project Scope of Work: 1. Provide complete and functioning Building automation system. Pneumatic controls will be replaced with DDC (direct digital controls) system. New system will control new and existing HVAC equipment. The system will be a Web based Honeywell system. 2. Provide cooling to the offices and media area by adding the air cooled chiller plant and replacing cooling coil in the air handler unit AHU-2. 3. Replacement of the roof top direct fired make up air unit with indirect fired unit that will also heat the space. 4. Modifications of 6 air handler units will include replacement of the supply and return fans, heating coils, filter section, addition of cooling coils as indi cated in paragraph "a" and some dampers where multiple outside air/return air dampers are present. AHU-2, AHU-3, AHU-5 and 6 will also include replacement of the multi-zone section to convert from multizone to VAV system. Note that AHU-1 is already a VAV system. 5. Replacement of some exhaust fans due to removed heat recovery fans. 6. Replacement of the convectors and fin pipe units for operation with the new lower temperature boiler plant. Any Protest or Request for Change Must Be Delivered in Writing to David Mckay, Principal in Charge, Hmk Company, at Po Box 1176, Albany, or 97321, on or Before Seven (7) Days Prior to the Due Date for Proposals. The Owner reserves the right to reject any Proposal that is not in compliance with all prescribed requirements. For good cause, the Owner may reject any or all Proposals upon a written finding that it is in the public interest to do so.
