| Description | This work consists of constructing a small, temporary coffer dam, pumping out water between dam and box culvert, drilling of holes and the pumping of a slurry type grout mixture to underseal the box culvert. The grout mixture shall form a hard and insoluble mass that will effectively fill any voids. The purpose of the project is to seal the underside of the existing reinforced concrete, triple box culvert, to prevent lake leakage under/around the box culvert structure. Cofferdam may the size and type as determined by contractor, to allow proper dewatering, and pressure grouting. The construction of a box culvert toe wall is required, in the event one is not discovered during inspection. |
