Custodial Services

The City of Prairie Village is Requesting Sealed Qualification Submittals from interested and qualified Custodial Companies. Prairie Village will review the Qualification Submittals and will select two to three firms, based on the content of their submittal, to interview. The RFQ should fully demonstrate the firms ability to provide these custodial services. It should include information about how the firm operates and should include three references from entities that are similar in size and scope to Prairie Village. For the firms selected for interview there will be a required walk through of all the City facilities that will be included in this contract. After the interviews and walk through firms, that are requested, will submit sealed bids to the City Clerk at a date to be determined. All submittals shall be submitted in specially marked sealed envelopes addressed to the City Clerk. Submittals received after the designated closing time will be returned unopened. Non-resident corporations that are not already registered with the Kansas Secretary of State and all non-resident individuals and partnerships are required by law to register with the Director of Revenue, State Office Building, Topeka, Kansas, and to pay a fee of Ten Dollars ($10.00) for each and every contract as a precedent to commencing work on the contract. For contracts in excess of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), the foreign contractor shall file with the Director of Revenue an acceptable bond in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract
