Design Services for Huntersville Athletic Park Turf Field Project

Consulting services to perform engineering, design, and construction administration for the installation of artificial turf on four baseball infields at Huntersville Athletic Park. The consulting services will include scoping of the project, synthetic outdoor sports fields, and associated site amenities to include drainage, storm water, construction documentation, permitting with local and state agencies, bidding assistance, construction administration, project closeout, and post-occupancy problem solving. Huntersville Athletic Park is a 38-acre park located at 11720 Verhoeff Road. This Baseball Complex is one of the busiest in North Carolina with an average of more than 1,000 hours per field of scheduled usage annually. Because of the heavy use on these fields, the Town is looking to replace the synthetic turf on two existing infields and add synthetic turf to the other two baseball infields. There are four total baseball fields in this wagon wheel complex.
