Air Conditioning System Replacement

The Gainesville Housing Authority (GHA) is seeking a qualified and experienced firm to provide Replacement of Multiple AC Units at Gainesville Housing Authority Main Office, 1900 SE 4th St, Gainesville, FL 32641. This has been deemed an Emergency Situation by GHA due to building occupancy during warming temperature conditions. Services will include, but are not limited to, the replacement (removal and installation) of multiple roof and ground units, installation of an enhanced filtering system, and to upgrading selected ductwork at the same location. All related equipment shall be replaced with same or equivalent quality equipment. All work is to be performed in accordance with manufactures specifications, industry standards, and best work practices. All work is to be performed by skilled and qualified workmen in best practices of the trade and in compliance with Building Regulations, Statues and Ordinances by Authorities having jurisdiction. All interior building access is limited to the regular working hours of GHA. Hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. excluding all holidays recognized by the Gainesville Housing Authority. Site inspection will be Monday, May 11, at 9 AM EST and is mandatory. All contractors and their employees are required to maintain local and state safety requirements for Covid 19.
