1132 FT (0.21 MI), Expanion Joint Replacement, End Diaphrams Replacement, Steel Superstructure and Abutment Bearings painting, and Guardrail Replacement. Project improvements include the removal and replacement of the strip seal expansion joints located at the east and west abutment, the removal and replacement of end diaphragms as indicated on the plans, the installation of beam repairs as indicated on the plans and the cleaning and painting of the entire steel superstructure and the cleaning and painting of the expansion bearings located at the abutments. Existing guardrail shall be removed and replaced with new guardrail and terminals, new aggregate shoulders, and graded side slopes.
