Central High School Athletic Field Upgrades

The Central High School (SITE) is located at 1840 Roosevelt Avenue, Springfield, MA 01109. The feasibility study is to evaluate existing conditions and prepare construction/ bidding documents for the potential upgrade of existing athletic fields. The Project Cost for this feasibility study- phase one, must not exceed $50,000- fifty thousand dollars. The City is seeking the services of a qualified Designer as defined in M.G.L. Chapter 7C, 44-57, to provide professional design services design and construction administration services for the project entitled; feasibility and construction documents: Central High School Athletic Upgrades, in the City of Springfield. All Proposals becomes the property of the City of Springfield. The Chief Officer reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if it is in the best interest of the City to do so. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time. The Project consists of but not limited to: Construction of a new synthetic turf baseball and multi-sport field at the Central High School. This project also includes installation of associated drainage, accessible walkways, field lighting, bleacher seating, and other work shown on the contract documents.

Division 31 -	Earthwork, Selective Clearing, Grading.
Division 32 -	Exterior Improvements, Athletic and Recreational Surfacing, Site Improvements, Fences and Gates, Planting.
