Description | Scope of Work A. Concrete Specifications 1. 4000 PSI exterior concrete (4% - 6% air entrained; Straight Bag Mix) 2. 4” Crushed Rock or Engineered Fill (compacted) 3. 4” – 12” thick concrete (with reinforced when needed) 4. Engineered fill will be placed in 6” lifts and compacted to 95% 5. Sealer (100% acrylic) 6. Broom finish 7. Relief cuts to match existing areas at the location (every 100 square feet max; no more than 10’ in any direction to the next relief joint) 8. Expansion joints every 50’ (or where abutting existing concrete) 9. 1/2” asphalt impregnated board 10. Excavation, haul-off, and forming included 11. Concrete install includes doweling into the abutting concrete 2’ on center with #4 bar x 16” B. General Specifications 1. All work shall meet all adopted building codes. 2. Inspections are required and will need to be coordinated through the CSD Facility Coordinator. 3. Daily and final clean-up will be the contractor’s responsibility. 4. Work may be scheduled during the day, but each project will need to be scheduled and completed with minimal impact on the school. 5. No concrete trucks are allowed on playgrounds during school hours. 6. Contractor is responsible for any vandalism of concrete until cured. 7. Any sprinkler lines damaged are the responsibility of the contractor. 8. Projects will need to be completed within four (4) weeks from the PO issue date. C. Work Performed Of the total work performed and completed annually, CSD anticipates that a majority of services fall under these key points: 1. Labor (Include in the Service) 2.
