Description | The Parkview Safe Routes to School (SRTS) project consists of new sidewalk along portions of Coolidge Drive and Indiana Street along with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) upgrades along West Illinois Street. The project will also restripe Indiana to provide bike lanes each direction from Meridian Street to Sunset Drive and have a (Rectangular Rapid Flashing Beacon) RRFB installed at the intersection of Illinois and Valette Street. Services, including professional engineering services, and construction engineering and/or administration, may be added/removed from the contract contingent upon funding availability and project needs. This project is funded through and FHWA Safe Routes to School grand and City of Bellingham transportation funds. |
