Grind 2 of asphalt from both the North and South approaches of the US 97 HWY 4 UPRR structure and then pave back to match bridge deck elevation providing a smooth ride and transition. The approach area to be completed will start directly following the concrete bridge deck and measure 150 long x 44 wide. Contractor needs to use caution to avoid contact with the concrete impact panels while the cold plane pavement removal takes place, also present is an Asphalti Plug joint located on the North end of the structure, which includes a steel plate that is @ 2 in depth, its the contractors responsibility to avoid contact with drum grinder while the cold plane pavement removal is taking place. The work will include performing all traffic control and installing temporary pavement markers once work is completed. ODOT crews will be responsible for the permanent striping and any joint work thats needs to be completed
