Description | The Work will consist of: The general scope of the St. Louise Hospital Air Handling Unit Replacement Project is to replace existing air handling units. The project scope of work includes but is not limited to: Furnishing of all labor, material, superintendence, power, light, tools, appliances, equipment, machinery, supplies, certifications, services, and other means of construction necessary or proper for performing and completing the Work. Removing, furnishing, and installing of items indicated on the Drawings and Specifications. Replacing existing air handlers AH-1 and AH-2 with new custom air handlers. Installing new air handler AH-7 to operate as a temporary air handler during the replacement of AH-1 and AH-2. Providing new structural support for the new air handler AH-7 and ductwork. Selective demolition and patching of areas of existing air handler roof curbs. Providing electrical services to the new air handlers and accessories. Providing a new direct digital control system to monitor and control the new air handlers with future expansion capabilities. Relocating the existing sanitary sewer vent 25 away from the air handler unit outside air intakes. Providing a new crossover stair bridge for the maintenance pathway. CONTRACT TIMES A. The Contract Time for the completion of all the Work of the Project is 365 calendar Days from the Commencement. Owner’s Notice to Proceed. Designated portions of the Work must be completed according to the following Milestones. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier’s check, or a bond in the sum of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total aggregate of the Bid price, including all additive Bid items. |
