The successful proposers shall anticipate a Notice of Award within 30-days after the proposals have been reviewed and a Notice of to Proceed shall be issued shortly thereafter. The City of Wilkes-Barre encourages minority owned firms, women's business enterprises, and labor surplus area firms to submit proposals. The proposer must ensure that the employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, age, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or disability. In addition, and to the greatest extent feasible, the Proposer should utilize Wilkes-Barre businesses for contract needs. The City of Wilkes-Barre reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to request additional information from all proposers, when doing so is in the best interest of the project. During this time period, no proposer will be allowed to withdraw his or her proposal.
