Description

Russellville High School Stadium Improvements Project includes demolition and construction of existing facilities including new Electrical Building and distribution, concrete work, new Band Grandstand, new ADA Access System to existing bleachers. Bid Packages Included: Package No. 1 Site Work Package No. 2 Fencing Package No. 3 Concrete Package No. 4 Masonry Package No. 5 Carpentry Package No. 6 Joint Sealers Package No. 7 Metal Roofing, Trim, Gutters, Vents, etc. Package No. 8 Painting Package No. 9 Band Bleacher System/ Bleacher ADA Access System Package No. 10 HVAC Package No. 11 Electrical Refer to the Instruction to Bidders section of the Construction Management Manual for direction in submitting bids. Bids must be based on a lump sum amount and must be inclusive of all bid package requirements. The bids will be opened publicly. Include on sealed bid proposal envelope the name of the project and the bid package number. If submitting for more than one bid package, then each bid for each bid package must be in separate sealed envelopes. Fax and emailed bids are also accepted. Each bid, in-excess-of $50,000, will include a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid offered. It will be in the form of a cashier's check or insurance surety bond using AIA Document A310 with Power of Attorney attached. Bond is to be made payable to Van Horn Construction, Inc. Trade package subcontracts in-excess-of $50,000 must include the cost of a Performance and Payment bond. Material Purchase Order contracts in-excess-of $100,000 must include the cost of a supply bond. Successful bidders providing a complete, responsive, and responsible bid will be required to furnish the bonds on Van Horn Construction's bond form without alteration, and to execute a subcontract/purchase order contract with Van Horn Construction, Inc., which is available for review in the Construction Management Manual.
