Description

Structural engineering assessment in Arvin Gymnasium: The existing structure at the existing weight room consists of a composite steel frame structure. The government intends on removing all of the existing equipment from the room and provide new lifting stations and platforms that will be designed and supplied by Sorinex Fitness. Therefore, this assessment is needed in order to determine if the existing structure can support the dead loads of the new equipment as well as the live loads associated with dropping of weights and individuals.
