Description | Deadline to submit Questions Apr 13th 2023, 2:00 PM MST Relining of fiberglass chlorite 2nd tank. As questions submitted require adequate time for response preparation, Bidders are asked to submit all questions through the Portal by the date and time indicated in this solicitation. SCOPE OF WORK The City of Yuma is requesting bids to repair one Sodium Hypochlorite fiberglass storage tank. The repairs are to seal all leaks and reline the interior of the tank floor, walls, manways and around flanges. - Please reference pictures in Attachment A. The work for this project shall be executed in the best and most competent manner and certified efficient mechanics/tradesman, skilled in their respective trade. Work to be performed under this project shall be in accordance with all applicable codes, regulations, standards and criteria. TANK SPECIFICATIONS 3.1. The tank requesting repairs is a capacity of 6,500 gallons and stores Sodium Hypochlorite 0.8% solution. 3.2. Dimensions are 14' high and 9' diameter. 3.3. Tank is constructed of fiberglass and lined with HETRON FR992. REPAIRING OF FIBERGLASS STORAGE TANK 4.1. Repair of storage tank must be in accordance with all applicable codes and industry standards. 4.2. Vendor shall maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the period of construction. The vendor shall, at the end of each work day, remove all demolition debris and hazardous and potentially dangerous materials used in the work. 4.3. The vendor shall be responsible for receiving, storing, and securing of all materials, equipment and other items to be used in accomplishing the work. The vendor shall be responsible in acquiring all lifts or any equipment needed to complete the work. 4.4. Vendor shall complete the work within 10 days from the start date |
