Description | As of January 6, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Description: Notice is hereby given that the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners will receive sealed bids from properly licensed and insured contractors for the drainage improvements to the Public Works Yard located at 6075 Old Bagdad Hwy., Milton, FL 32583. Questions concerning this request should be directed to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Office in writing at bidinfo@santarosa.fl.gov prior to 12:00 p.m. on November 17, 2022 1. Stormwater Improvements of the Santa Rosa County Public Works yard located near the intersection of Old Bagdad Hwy. and Pine Forrest Road Milton, FL. 2. Removal of top 8 inches (Typ.) of existing soils in the sandy areas of the Public Works Yard (Est. Qty. 18,530 SY) 3. Install new semi-impervious surface areas of Public Works Yard constructed of 3-dimensional geotextile materials, and others, and crushed infill (Est. Qty. 18,530 SY). 4. Prepare and place Sod in equipment storage areas in infields (Est. Qty. 11,532 SY). 5. Install and maintain temporary construction access off of Pine Forrest Road, and following completion of the project, remove temporary access and replace existing chain-link fence. . The work includes but may not be limited to the following: 1. Place and maintain erosion control devices. 2. Design and maintain temporary Maintenance of Traffic (MOT). 3. Coordinate sequencing of construction with County Staff. 4. Remove existing soils from site. 5. Install improvements per construction documents. 6. Protect existing trees, wells and surface features. 7. Restore temporary accesses and laydown areas. |
