Description | Sealed bids may be submittedfor the following Project: Huron County Pavement Marking Project Phase 1, PID 115864. Sealed bids may be submitted on or before the bid opening date ofMarch 3,2023 until 8:59 a.m. local time, at the Huron County Commissioner's Office, 180 Milan Avenue, Suite 7, Norwalk, Ohio 44857, for the following Project: Huron County Pavement Marking Project Phase 1, PID 115864. Bids shall be opened and publicly read aloud at 9:00 a.m. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than October 27, 2023. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates as determined by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Davis-Bacon and related Acts. All proposals must be submitted bound in their entirety, and on the forms furnished in the Contract documents. Bid documents must be obtained from the Huron County Engineer, no copies will be accepted. The Board of County Commissioners of Huron County reserves the right to waive any and all irregularities in the bids or bidding process and may reject any and all bids. The Contractor shall furnish, at its own cost and expense, all management, labor, tools, forms, equipment, appliances, machinery, transportation, materials and other things necessary, of whatever nature, to perform the Work, and shall perform and complete, within the time limit specified, all ofthe Work indicated or implied by the including the Notice to Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, General & Supplemental Provisions, Standard Specifications, Scope ofWork, Plans & Specifications, and Estimated Quantities prepared forthis Project, including the removal ofsurplus or condemned materials, and the thorough cleaning ofthe site ofthe Work and structures built. At the pre-construction meeting, the Contractor must provide the Engineer with a printed schedule showing the interrelation and planned performance of all major items of Work, with completion reasonably scheduled thereon to occur by the scheduled completion date recited herein. The Engineer shall review and consider acceptance ofthe schedule as provided by section 108.02 (B) (1) ofthe Standard Specifications. In no case will any Work, in excess ofsuch requirements, be paid for unless ordered in writing by the County as hereinafter specified. All Work shall be ofthe best quality throughout. Unless otherwise provided herein, all materials shall be new. The Installation of Traffic Paint on Various Huron County Roads maintained by the Huron County Engineer. Refer to the Huron County Supplemental Specifications for the Installation ofTraffic Paint, for further details. |
