Description | As of January 18, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. This bid includes 3 sites: Parker Park, Under the Palms Park and the 7th Street Restroom. The work includes minor site grading, a gravel parking lot, landscaping, fencing, utilities and rest room buildings. BIDDERS ARE REQUIRED TO BID ALL 3 SITES. THE PROJECT WILL BE AWARDED UNDER 1 CONTRACT The bid must conform to Section 287.133(3) Florida Statutes, on public entity crimes. The completion date for each site will be 180 days for Substantial Completion and 200 days for Final Completion from the date of the Notice to Proceed presented to the successful bidder. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project on the specified date will be set at $100.00 per day. Please indicate on the envelope that this is a sealed bid, for the MEXICO BEACH PARKS - FEMA REPAIRS . The City of Mexico Beach reserves the right to waive informalities in any bid, to accept and/or reject any or all bids, and to accept the bid that in their judgment will be in their best interest. All bids shall remain firm for a period of ninety (90) days after the opening. Questions regarding the project must be submitted in writing to David Reisen at dreisen@dewberry.com prior by 2:00 p.m. Central Time on November 16, 2022. All bidders shall comply with all applicable State and local laws concerning licensing registration and regulation of contractors doing business to the State of Florida.
