Westway 20-Inch Potable Waterline Extension

The proposed 20-inch potable water main extension is located in the developing region of far West El Paso, Texas best-known as Westway. The project will be bid as a Unit Bid Price Item contract. Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not limited to, the purchase and installation of approximately 1,507 linear feet of 20-inch C900 DR14 (305 psi) PVC pipe, 20-inch diameter gate valves, 3-inch combination air release valves and vaults, trench safety system, and all other miscellaneous piping, fittings, and appurtenances and other site work necessary for the proper installation of this project. Also included is the removal of unsuitable organic material and vegetation along the route of the project, regrading and stabilizing of the existing terrain, construction of a maintenance/access road with a reinforced concrete low-water crossing, and the installation of erosion prevention and stabilization measures.
