Description

Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with power of attorney attached or cashier's check of five percent (5%) of the total amount bid (sum of all bid items) The work generally consists of construction of concrete flatwork, pavers, play equipment, drainage, and site amenities to serve Oakmont Public Utility District. 1. Provide administration and construction support services to complete the work. 2. Coordinate with utility owners and governing agencies. Portions of this project are within utility easements. 3. Apply for and procure all applicable permits from the applicable governing agencies. 4. Provide Maintenance and Warranty as per specifications. 5. Provide all materials and installation of final grading. 6. Provide all materials and installation for the connector trail as designed. A Bid which, in the opinion of Owner's staff, deviates significantly from the contract Documents, and which has not been clarified through a written Addenda prior to Bid submittal deadline, shall be considered an exception to the Contract Documents and grounds for the Bid to be rejected. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities and irregularities in Bids received. The district pursuant to TWC 49.273, reserves the right to accept the bid that, in the district's judgment, is most advantageous to the district and results in the best and most economical completion of the district's proposed plans, improvements, facilities, works, equipment and appliances. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner further reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder whom it finds, after reasonable inquiry and evaluation, to not be responsible. Owner may also reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder.
