Conn Brown Harbor Roadway Reconstruction and Hike and Bike Path 2020

Consist of complete reconstruction of Allen Blvd., Bigelow St., and Turnbough Ave. on Conn Brown Harbor, a total length of 2.225 miles, and a proposed roundabout at the Huff St./Allen Blvd/Bigelow St intersections. The existing roadway will be demolished and rebuilt with new concrete pavement (base bid) with an Additive Alternate (#4) for asphalt concrete (HMAC) pavement consideration. The project scope also includes curb and gutter, ADA compliant curb ramps, signage, pavement markings, and hike & bike path. In addition, the Project includes the following Additive Alternates: AA 1: Rehabilitation of subbase, base and asphaltic concrete overlay of Harbor Point Park Parking Lot AA 2: Extension of existing municipal waterline to provide a continuous looping system AA 3: Added street and pedestrian safety illumination system AA 4: Asphaltic Concrete (HMAC) Pavement, in lieu of Concrete Pavement (Base Bid)
