Description

The scope of the work includes 1) Furnish the new boiler and other materials necessary for installation. 2) Provide all labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for complete installation. 3) Remove and dispose of existing boiler and all components and incidentals that are no longer needed. The project can be viewed during normal business hours Monday through Friday by contacting Facilities Management for an appointment. No bid may be withdrawn by the Bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days following the date of the bid opening, within which time the contract will be awarded by the Common Council. If the successful bidder so fails to file such contract the amount of the check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. Successful contractor shall obtain and pay for all necessary permits and fees. The envelope in which the bid is sealed shall bear the name and address of the bidder and the notation 2nd Street Community Center Boiler Project. The Board of Public Works reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to the City of Marshfield.
