Inner Campus Underground Steam and Condensate Piping Replacement

The scope of work consists of, but not necessarily limited to, the following: 1. Bid shall include all systems improvements as shown on the Inner Campus Underground Steam and Condensate Piping Replacement Technical Specifications issued under this IFB. 2. Contractor is responsible to submit all permits as required. 3. All utility mark outs private and public are the responsibility of the contractor. Rowan can provide limited historical information but mark out and damage to surrounding utilities are the responsibility of the Contractor. 4. Contractor shall schedule and coordinate all work activities with Rowan University. 5. Contractor is responsible to schedule and manage all required inspections, including, but not limited to Final Certificate of Occupancy inspection (if required). 6. Contractor must follow all OSHA/PEOSH and Rowan safety guidelines and procedures. 7. Contractor must bid the project to meet the schedule outlined in the bid documents which may include weekend and/or shift work. Contractor must staff the project accordingly to meet the schedule since the end date is firm. Rowan will not entertain change orders for contractors inability to meet this schedule or time extensions. 8. Steam and condensate piping associated with the project must be locked out/tagged out/isolated at least two locations (manholes, buildings, etc) past the field tie points of the project. 9. Dates below are not permitted to be amended without written permission from Rowan.
