Description

The Harlem Valley Rail Trail Association, Inc. (HVRTA) is looking for a professional design firm to develop and execute outdoor exhibits utilizing draft content supplied by HVRTA, celebrating science, nature, and history for a section of the Harlem Valley Rail Trail (HVRT) from the intersection of the HVRT trailhead on Main Street, Millerton, NY continuing north approximately 0.5 miles to a pedestrian bridge along the Harlem Valley Rail Trail. The firm chosen will create a series of permanent outdoor displays that make local nature and the wonders of science come alive and have meaning for general public. We seek a design firm to partner with us for development, execution of graphic displays, signage and website content. The desired firm or team should have the ability to develop the displays, exhibits and amenities and work with the chosen fabricator and the HVRTAs Landscape Architect on developing the site. Experience working on exhibits for New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is a plus. Contract term: 1 Year
