Description

The District is not responsible for any costs incurred in response to this Invitation to Bid. Work under this Contract includes: o Demolition of existing front counter area and associated tile, ceiling, electrical and HVAC o Installation of new front counter with bullet resistant panels and bullet, resistant glazing o New carpet, interior paint, and ceiling alterations o New storefront system with door and bullet resistant, glazing o Associated electrical and HVAC work Bids shall, be submitted in accordance with the Contract Documents. Bids shall constitute offers to the District, which shall be binding for 60 days from the date of bid opening, The District reserves the right to reject any bid, any portion of any bid and/or to reject all bids. The District further reserves the right, but without obligation, to waive informalities and irregularities. No bid will be considered unless accompanied by a bid guaranty (certified or cashier's check, surety bond, or postal money order) payable to Alderwood Water and Wastewater District in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Total Bid Price. The following identifies the types of subcontracting opportunities that may be available on this contract and is provided only for informational purposes. Work Categories: HVAC, caulking, plumbing, painting, casework. All work performed on this project will be subject to the State of Washington prevailing wage rates.
