| Description | Work under this contract may include repairs or replacement of various types of roofs; replacement of deteriorated roof insulation and decking; repairs to sheet metal coping, flashing, and trim; repair and or replacement of roof drain systems; sealants and caulking necessary to prevent water penetration; repairs to various types of exterior walls to provide watertight buildings; rough carpentry related to roofing; waterproofing; and any other construction/repair process necessary to accomplish specific projects to provide moisture protection of the building. Work may also include repairs to any finish surfaces, (ceilings, walls, floors, etc.) that may be disrupted by work. Acceptable repairs will be determined on a case by case basis. Types of roof systems include, but are not limited to: asphalt shingle, cedar shingle/ shake, slate, tile, metal asphalt bur, modified bitumen, single ply EPDM or CSPE, polyurethane foam base. | ||
