The system shall meet the following specifications: • Special condition: Must provide installation and removal of old system during weekend/after hours of operation of SPS (after 8PM weekdays Monday through Friday; Saturday or Sunday). There cannot be a break in operations; work must be completed between Friday after 8PM and be finished by 6:30AM Monday. • Must meet the requirements set forth in ANSI/AAMI TIR34:2017 Water for the reprocessing of medical devices • Distribution loops must be a continuous recirculating design. • Loop shall be constructed of materials such as stainless steel or polymer that will provide a smooth surface to inhibit the formation of biofilm. • Storage tank must meet or exceed 185-gallon capacity • Feed water quality must be potable drinking water standards • Feed water temperature requires blend valve capability • RO Production Rated Capacity must be 5600 GPD, 21,196 LPD • Carbon pre-filters for chlorine removal • RO water flows through deionizer then to the storage tank • DI water is required for the system • DI water is monitored with an audible 1 megohm quality indicator • Anti-scalant injection feed to prevent hard water scale on reverse osmosis membranes • Low feed pressure system shut down alarm • High conductivity of feed and product water • Submicron vent filter • Ultraviolet light to control bacteria proliferation in purified water storage and distribution system • Equipped with an online monitor to measure output intensity and alarms when lamp needs replacing. • Ultrafiltration with endotoxin cartridge and installed post UV to remove endotoxins from the purified water storage and distribution system • Alarm panel with a monitoring system for operating conditions to include RO alarm, low storage tank, and DI resistivity • Remote alarm for continuous system monitoring outside the water room • System with easy capability for disinfection • ISO 13485 registered device • Operates at feed water pressure of minimum of 20 psi • Must include all piping and valving required to be attached to 3 ultrasonics, 3 sink faucets and 1 washer/disinfector. • Operates on 120 volts maximum 20-amp circuit
