| Description | Project Description To install a propane generator and transfer switch at the Charlotte Town Hall and a propane generator and transfer switch at the Charlotte Senior Center to allow buildings and wastewater system to operate during a power outage. Project Specifications 1. The project includes the excavation and placing of foundations necessary for proper generator installation. 2. Subcontractors will need to be approved in advance by the Selectboard. Certificates of Insurance will be required for all subcontractors. 3. Contractor will determine the size of generators based on 115% of the maximum annual load as indicated by GMP bills. 4. Generators are to be installed in the vicinity of the electrical service to each building. 5. Installation will include a complete and operating stand by generator system for each building that complies with all current applicable codes and regulations. 6. Any necessary permits will be obtained by the contractor. 7. Warranty information will be provided by the Contractor with the bid. | ||
