RFP D/B - Brighton Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion (383070)

The Public Works Department of the Seminole Tribe of Florida (hereinafter referred to as the "Tribe") is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide construction services for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion (383070) project located at the Brighton Seminole Indian Reservation. This project includes the following: 1) Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion. Construction of new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) process facilities and Administratio n Building/Emergency Operations Center to expand treatment capacity of the WWTP from 150,000 gallons per day (GPD) average day flow (ADF) to 300,000 GPD ADF. 2) Lift Station and Force Main. Construction of a new lift station and 12,700 ft. force main to deliver treated effluent from the WWTP to a deep injectio n well (DIW) located at the Brighton Water Treatment Plant (WTP). 3) Radio Tower. Design/Build Construction for a new onsite Radio Tower for installation on the WWTP property. The work shall be substantially completed within Five Hundred Fifty (550) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. The work shall be entirely complete (final) within Six Hundred Forty (640) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date Deadline for Questions*: August 30, 2022 @ 5:00 PM EDT All Questions/inquiries/communication Must Be Directed in Writing to the Contact Person, Trecia Demby Performance and payment bonds shall (1) name as additional obligees: the Owner, any designee of Owner and affiliates or any construction lender(s) of the Owner, (2) be in a form and be issued by as licensed surety satisfactory to Tribe, (3) be in an amount equal to 100% of their contract price as applicable, and (4) be automatically increased in the amount of any additive Change Orders and Construction Change Directives issued by Owner to Contractor.
