Description | VILLAGE OF MARATHON CITY Veterans Park Ball Complex Marathon City, Wisconsin Sealed bids for the construction of the following: Project No. 200326 Veteran's Park Ball Complex - to include: the construction of a new athletic complex. Project elements include but are not limited to new softball/baseball fields, parking lot, basketball courts, press box/restroom/concession building, pavilion, maintenance/storage building, challenge course/playground, multi-use trail, pedestrian underpass, sanitary sewer, water main construction, restoration of the work area, and other miscellaneous items in conformance with the contract documents. All bids uploaded and submitted through Quest shall also be accompanied with bid form 00 41 43. Please contact us at 608-524-6468 if you have any questions. The contractor shall be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rate as established by law. Portions of this project will be funded with the Federal Land & Water Conservation (LAWCON) Grant. The Village of Marathon City reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids. The letting of the work described herein is subject to the provisions of Sections 61.54, 66.0901 and 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes. Clarifications and/or changes resulting from questions will be made through addenda issued by the appropriate design team.Custom Bid result - Amerifence Corporation – $83,293, G&J Solutions – $176,016, American Asphalt – $155,739, Peterson- $125,105 In general, the project consists of three new baseball/softball fields with six dugouts, fencing, concession/press box, pavilion and associated site work and concrete. The earthwork, asphalt paving and landscaping work has already been awarded and mostly completed. The Owner is considered a tax-exempt entity, therefore WI. Stat. 77.54(9m) will be utilized on this project |
