Replacement of McGraw Marathon Road (CR 116) Bridge over Hunts Creek

The projects limits extend from: approximately 170 feet south to approximately 175 north of the existing bridge. The project consists of the replacing of the two-span existing bridge carrying Mc Graw Marathon Road (CR 116) Bridge over Hunts Creek in the Town of Marathon with a new structure. The proposed bridge will consist of a single span, multiple steel girder with composite concrete deck superstructure. The superstructure will be supported by cast-in-place concrete integral abutments founded on driven steel Hpiles. Approximately 345 linear feet of the approach highway will be reconstructed as part of the project. The work on the approaches includes full and partial depth roadway reconstruction and installation of guide railing. Traffic will be maintained on an off-site detour route during construction.
