Caribou Drive Water Main Replacement

As of December 20, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. The City of Norwich reserves the right to reject and all bids, in whole or in part, to waive minor irregularities in the bidding and to award the bid to other than the low bidder if deemed in the best interest of the City. No Bidder may withdraw its bid within sixty (60) days of the bid opening date. This section shall consist of all work associated with the mobilization and demobilization of the contractor's forces and equipment necessary for performing the work required under the contract. It does not include mobilization and demobilization for specific items of work for which payment is provided elsewhere in the contract. This section shall also include costs for required bonds, insurances and other incidental preconstruction items associated with the startup and completion of the work. Mobilization shall include the following: A. Costs for performance and payment bonds. B. Costs for insurances. C. Provide, maintain, and remove temporary sanitary facilities. D. Establishing and removing temporary staging areas, lay down areas, and offices if needed. E. Any and all startup costs, removal costs, transportations costs, or costs or fees associated with mobilizing equipment or personnel to the project site and off the project site at the completion of work.
