NWHC Replacement of Air Handling Unit - FS-06

Project Description: The U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC), Madison, Wisconsin is seeking to replace the 1979 Trane air handling unit that supplies conditioned air into the lower level laboratories of the Main building. The air handling unit has exceeded its useful life and has an increasing failure rate with high repair costs. The project will include the removal, disposal, and installation of a new multiple zone air handling unit capable of supplying conditioned air into laboratories. The new air handler must be tested, balanced, and commissioned. Interested vendors should also be able to provide a complete operating system to integrate air handler, variable frequency drive, variable air volume terminal units, hydronic conditioning coils and existing HVAC systems.
