Currant Ridge Road Work

To provide 1.1 miles of Road Reconditioning. Work includes the cleaning of up to 11 corrugated metal pipes along with the clearing of the inlets/outlets, the construction of 5 drain dips, and 3 low water harden crossings with approx. 15 CY of 3”-5” angular rock per crossing. The completed road surface shall be 14 ft. -16 ft. wide with an inslope/outslope of 2% min. and the reconditioning of ditches to utilize the existing culverts. 3 turnouts shall be constructed to the dimensions on the drawings at locations designated by the FS Engineer. Approximately 225 CY of government furnished surfacing material will be used to spot surface areas designated by the FS Engineer. Location of this material is located at the Lake Creek Pit 3 miles north of the project site. The work shall be in accordance with the FP-14 “Standard Specifications for Construction on Roads and Bridges on Federal Highway Projects”. Forest Service road 70080 “Currant Ridge” is located on the Heber-Kamas Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest, Wasatch County, Utah in Section 19, T 1 S, R 11 W, Uinta Special Meridian. It is located approximately 19 miles southeast of Heber, Utah along FS road 70083 “Lake Creek-Currant Creek”.
