| Description | The VA requires the services of a certified, Professional Industrial Hygienist (aka VPIH) to perform services to aid the VA during the Contractor’s asbestos abatement. The VPIH’s services include, but are not limited to, asbestos abatement project review, quality assurance, air monitoring services and provide testing facilities (including materials, equipment and transportation). The Asbestos Abatement Contractor is scheduled to remove 2,438 square feet of asbestos containing material (ACM) floor tile and mastic on the 3rd floor Core (hallways originating around elevators and lead to respective wings) and 3A Stem (3A-wing’s primary corridor) of the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. |
