The project includes demolition of existing facilities at the City of Prattville's Stanley-Jensen Stadium and the construction of new stadium facilities including locker rooms, audio/video systems, grandstand bleachers, multi-level press box with elevator, entryways and plazas, concession areas, restrooms, paved parking and landscaping. Site work will include new parking, security fencing, vehicular gates, underground utilities, pedestrian facilities and landscaping. Pre-qualification Proposals for Stanley-jensen Stadium Improvements Bid No. 022-017 Will Be Received on Behalf of the City of Prattville by Civil Southeast, Llc at P.o. Box 680709, Prattville, Al 36068, for the Below Mentioned Project, Until 5:00 Pm Cdt, Thursday, September 8, 2022. Cashier's check or bid bond payable to City of Prattville, Alabama in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the amount of the bid, but in no event more than $10,000, must accompany the bidder's proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds, immigration documentation as required by The Beason-Hammon Alabama Taxpayer and Citizen Protection Act, and insurance in compliance with requirements, will be required at the signing of the Contract. Legislative Act 2016-312 {the "Act"} prohibits the City from entering into contracts with any business entity that is actively engaged in or plans to engage in the boycott of a person or an entity based in or doing business with a jurisdiction with which the State can enjoy open trade; unless such business entity provides the goods or services for at least 20 percent (20%} less than the lowest business entity in compliance with the Act. All bidders understand and agree that in the awarded contract, the lowest responsive bidder must either certify that it is in compliance with the Act and agree that it will not violate the act during the term of the contract; or agree to offer the goods or services for at least 20 percent (20%} less than the lowest business entity certifying compliance with the Act. Only General Contractors who have completed the pre-qualification process within the stated time limits, and which are properly licensed in accordance with criteria established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors under the Provision of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975, as amended, will be considered for prequalification for the Work of this project. The pre-qualification procedure is intended to identify responsible and competent bidders relative to the requirements of the Project. The Owner reserves the right to waive technical errors in applications or abandon the pre-qualification process. Additional qualifications and requirements for General Contractor Bidders are indicated in the Bid and Contract Documents. All questions, comments and requests for clarifications or additional information shall be submitted in writing to Casey Ivy at civy@sslarch.com and must be received no later than 12:00 PM CDT, on Wednesday, June 21, 2023. The City of Prattville reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive technical errors and/or abandon the bid process if, in their judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
