Snow Removal - Township Roadways

Bids shall be made on the standard proposal form and be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Township Clerk at the above address. The name and address for the bidder and the name of the item must be printed on the face of all envelopes. Bid package should not be disassembled or duplicated. One original, one (1) copy, and a CD/Flash drive of the bid proposal must be submitted. Bids will be rejected if not submitted within time, date and at place designated. The guaranty accompanying the bid proposal shall be given in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the maximum delivered price, but not to exceed twenty thousand dollars ($20,000), and may be given at the option of the bidder by a certified check or a bid bond from a reputable insurance company licensed in the State of New Jersey. PERFORMANCE BONDS: When required as part of the contract documents, the awarded vendor shall within ten (10) days after the award of the contract, obtain, pay for and deliver to the Township of Old Bridge, a performance bond for one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract sum satisfactory to the Township and executed by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of New Jersey. o Award Date (Estimate) October 11, 2022 o Project Start date (Estimate) October 1, 2022 o Project End date (Estimate) September 30, 2023 The Township Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids for the above listed contract in whole and/or in part which do not comply with the specification and/or the statutory requirements. The Township Council reserves the right to waive informalities as the Township may deem to be in its best interest.
