Monroe Mountain Private Aspen Regeneration

This remote property is located in Sevier County. Please see attached maps for the general project location. Cell phone communication is sparse in the project areas. The nearest lodging is hotels in Richfield, Utah. Legal Description: Township 25 South, Range 2 West, Portions of Section 26, and 35. Acreage: approximately 123 acres - dependent upon budget constraints. Services in this contract to provide for the removal of live, standing dead, and down dead trees on up to 123 acres (price dependent) on private property in Sevier County. The project area is scattered throughout Monroe Mountain and the terrain is generally gently sloped areas next to dirt roads. The goal of the project is to open up the ground to encourage the regeneration of fire resistant aspen. Aspen regeneration requires bare soil with exposure to sunlight, therefore all woody material will be piled within the cut boundary. The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, supplies, lodging/ camping arrangements, and incidentals to perform all work as set forth in these specifications.
