New Maintenance Facility - Plumbing Contract

As of January, 2023, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Plumbing Contract D006002: $10,000.00 Ten Thousand Dollars and 00/100. Contract includes but is not limited to: Providing all labor, material, and equipment necessary for installing air compressor and related piping and appurtenances, all domestic water piping, valves, fixtures, hot water heaters and connections, as well as all sanitary piping, and sanitary connections. Also included is providing propane gas piping within the building at Cumberland Bay State Park in accordance with the contract documents. Estimate Range: $176,800.00 - $239,200.00 The following goals for MWBE participation on this project have been established for Plumbing Contract D006002 at: Minority Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) 9% Women Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) 9% The completion date for this project is 365 days after agreement has been approved by the NYS Comptroller's Office. Pursuant to Public Building Law 8(6), any contracts over $5,000 for the work of construction, reconstruction, alteration, repair, or improvement of any State building, a responsible and reliable NYS-certified Minority or Women-Owned Business Enterprise that submits a bid within ten percent of the lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder provided that the bid is $1,473,245 or less (maximum amount has been adjusted for inflation effective January 1, 2022). If more than one responsible and reliable MWBE firm meets the requirements, the MWBE firm with lowest bid will be deemed the apparent low bidder.
