Description

This project will construct a 4 MGD lift station inside the Carter Creek WWTP. Construction ofthe lift station will inlcude pumps, SCADA equipment, and electical building for VFDs. It will also construct approximately 9,950 feet of 20-inch HDPE force main by open cut and approximatly 3,400 feet of 20-inch fusible HDPE force main by horizontal directional drill. The force main will extend from the new left station, through the WWTP into existing easments and tie into an extension manhole at the end of the Green Jay Drive cul-de-sac in Bird Pond Estates. The City is seeking a construction company with quality experience in installing large lift stations, large diameter force mains, and installing and setup of SCADA systems and VFDs. The City has established $11,591,026.00 as the estimated construction budget for all the Work including alternates as described in the Drawings, Technical Specifications, and other Contract Documents prepared by the A/E The City has determined that 450 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed to Substantial Completion (and additional 30 to Final Completion) should be sufficient time for performing allwork. All proposals shall follow the format provided by the City of College Station. Questions and inquiries about this RFP should be submitted in writing via the Q&A feature available through the Brazos Valley e-Marketplace (Bidding System). The deadline for submitting written requests for clarification is Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. CT Owner reserves the right to waive any minor informality or irregularity.
