The Board of Education of Prince George's County (The Board) serves the needs of public education in Prince George's County, covering approximately 1,789 square miles, with a residential population of more than 904,430. Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS), one of the nation's 20th largest school districts, has 208 schools and centers, has approximately 131,657 students and nearly 22,000 employees and an annual operating budget of $2.3 billion. The PGCPS reserves the right to reject either all proposals after the opening of the proposals but before award, or any proposal, in whole or part, when it is in the best interest of the PGCPS. For the same reason, the PGCPS reserves the right to waive any minor irregularity in a proposal. Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the Base Bid amount and ALL alternate bid amounts in the form of a Bid Bond as described in the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders IFB Questions due to PGCPS Procurement April 25, 2023
