Description

D264875, pin 4t3521, fa proj y001-4t35-213, monroe, ontario, wayne cos., pavement markings: various locations, bid deposit: 5% of bid (~ $200,000.00) Pavement markings for 2023 (eastside) - intersection and long-line pavement markings that are worn and/or dysfunctional have been identified. This project will include the application of pre-formed, reflectorized intersection markings as well as durable, high-visibility long-line pavement markings and is meant to extend the safety of the identified locations. Counties of monroe, ontario, and wayne. The current status of the project is in development. The bid opening is expected to be in fall 2022. Construction is expected to begin in winter 2022/2023. Construction is expected to be completed in spring 2024. This project is located in the genesee valley region and includes the following: Counties Livingston Orleans Wayne Genesee Wyoming Monroe Ontario Every bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check or bank cashier's check payable to the nys department of transportation, in the sum of the amount shown on the proposal title page. Bonds must be on form conr 391. Electronic bids must include an electronic bid bond. NYSDOT - Pavement Markings This contract will replace the existing pavement markings along state highways and expressways throughout Monroe East, Wayne, and Ontario counties maintained by the Region 4 NYSDOT. This project will include the re-application of all of the epoxy reflectorized pavement markings including auxiliary stop lines, cross-walks, rail road markings, wrong way arrow markings, symbols, gore hatching, intersection extension lines, as well as expressway chevrons within the contract limits. In addition, the re-application of the epoxy reflectorized edge and center line pavement markings on various routes within the contract limits that meet the program requirements. See the long line pavement marking map in the Appendix A. Existing markings that are too thick due to multiple layers will be removed per specification prior to re-application
