Description | Shelby County Route N is a state-maintained route that runs North/South from Route K to US 36. On the north side of the North Fork Salt River Bridge, approximately 3.5 miles north of US 36, the river bottom is holding water which keeps Route N closed for long periods of time. The water retention is cause by wildlife and sedimentation blocking drainage structures off the Route N right of way Installation of a riser and drainage pipe to drain water from highway right of way into the North Fork Salt River to lower the water level below the travel surface of Route N. |
